Join us for lunch time training - Guardianship Evaluation Training for APRNs (Virtual)

Due to recently passed legislation, Advanced Practice Registered Nurses (APRNs) in Georgia are now authorized to complete evaluations for guardianship appointments.

This training will be led by Judge Kelly Wolk and Judge Kristen Poland, who will walk participants through the legal, clinical, and documentation requirements for completing guardianship evaluations in compliance with state law.

There is a critical and immediate need for trained APRNs—particularly in rural and underserved communities—to ensure timely access to guardianship evaluations. Judges and probate courts across Georgia are requesting that as many APRNs as possible complete this training to help meet growing demand.
