Nurse Practitioner Week-Marietta

Greetings!

It is with much excitement I announce having received an official Proclamation from City of Marietta's Mayor Tumlin proclaiming this week National Nurse Practitioner Week in the City of Marietta!  While our National Week is coming to a conclusion, all APRN's should take this as encouragement and motivation not only to continue our efforts at enhancing visbility and pursuing autonomy in practice, but as a wonderful way to end the week leading in to tonight's celebration at Michelle Nelson's house!  It should be a great time, I know it was last year, and I do hope some of you have the opportunity to socialize and network with your colleagues. 

Additionally, tonight's event will also officially recognize and celebrate one of our own Cobb/Cherokee members.  Lisa Marie Walsh will receive her plaque of recognition for the scholarship she was recently awarded.  Congratulaions, Lisa Marie!  We applaud you and your efforts in furthering your career.  We look forward to your contributions both in the healthcare arena and the professional/political arena in which we work.
